I'll get a pic of my character posted soon. Thus far though, I've been greatly taking my time and finding/installing mods, of which I have 45 so far, not including tweaks to the .ini files, and the construction set isn't even out yet...LOL! I also just installed a mod to greatly slow down skill gain. Its was too dern fast, with most leveling only requiring to pick one lock or smith a single weapon, etc to earn. At that speed I'd be maxed out by the time I got the 3rd Jarl...

Still in Whiterun after 18hrs, and have a journal full of quests received there that I just got started on. Was attacked by 4 bandits with a death note on them when I stepped outside the walls...man people found out about me quick and I havn't been anywhere yet.

I'm playing a semi-stealthy type build, pickpocketing, thieving, sneaking about, but I'm also specializing in the bow and 1h Swords and Shields, course most enemies so far require that I run around and shoot them with arrows so as not to die. Maybe if I upgraded my armor from Leather, but we'll see.

im all about assassination, got all the stealth perks so i can run up and people still wont hear me, i dont trigger traps and i can crouch to slip into the shadows during combat to trigger the hidden effect. my back stab does x30 damage so i pretty much one shot anything if i can sneak up on them. i do have a pretty decent elvan bow i uses for long range kills but its mostly, sneak up, and stab

Very cool, I like your build.

Oh and I forgot to mention I also recently turned off the Compass, Floating Quest Markers, and the Quest Tracker, so I'm totally blind. If I need to find someone or a location gotta do by reading the quest text, and tons of exploring, and running up to people to see who they are, etc.

Removal of the hand-holding certainly made it a bit more difficult, cause most quests don't tell you exactly where to go, but rather a general location. Major Landmarks discovered show up on the map but thats it...

I haven't got this yet (hoping maybe for Christmas) but stealth sounds the way to go (altho I just know I'm going to feel guilty when I steal things )

Yeah, I'm kinda not liking it much either, so prolly gonna re-roll very soon, before I get too far and wouldn't want too. Already have 18 hrs logged so its gonna take awhile to get back to where I was, but may be a little easier if I go the full stealth route like Tyr...

Oki Kirita, my new character ~ not so creepy anymore!

I'm liking this new character and build much better. Those gloves I found this run add 15% to Bow Damage... And my first perk I chose in Sneak for 20% more Stealth!

I really enjoy sneaking into an area and doing as much damage as I can with my bow, then switch to melee once they get too close to be ranged effective. Then for the enemies that are much tougher I'll use backstab on once I get my skill high enough to unlock it. {With the new lesser skill mod, its gonna take a bit longer than last time, but will be worth it!}

oh yea its worth it, get the dagger perk in stealth that makes the damage x16, then if you can find some gloves that double the damage its x30 also i gues i need your name as well, sigh steam used to tell me who sent friend invites before

Better image of my new Character. Just got to Whiterun at just about 5hrs played, and only lvl 4 thus far. Its quite a bit more slower earning skill, which I like, but it also makes some fights near impossible. For instance the many times I've had hired bandits or an assassin find and attack me, I've had to run ~ they're just too dern tough to kill for now...
