14-Day Free Trial has returned!

Its about damn time SE brought the free-trial back, but not like it was expensive to purchase the Vana'diel Ultimate Collection which is usually less than $20. Having recently celebrated its 8th Anniversary outside Japan and with many other MMO options, it goes a long way in getting people to try it out and then decide if they'd like to play thereafter.

lol i've had that same thought a lot of times before, but just the thought of doing that subjob quest all over again is already discourage myself to think any further about restarting a new toon in ffxi.

After mulling over what you said the last few days and then playing Skyrim, I dunno if I ever want to return to XI. I do but I don't when you think of all the crap you gotta go through, and not just on a new char.

Its been awhile since I played an Elder Scrolls {2-3yrs} and I really really love the freedom it offers, being able to do pretty much everything alone {course it is fun to bring along a companion sometimes}. Especially crafting all your gear, even some of the best stuff without having to grind dungeons and raids with a bunch of tools...heh I'm so tired of the BS we have to deal with to get anything good in MMOs, and its nice to not have that in Skyrim, and go anywhere right away!


Probably not going to buy this after all, cause I can't see myself playing again soon. Skyrim is gonna take me a very long time to do it all, not to mention all the mods once the Creation Kit is released. I bet I tally up a good 500+ hrs before I decide to finish the main story. {plus the achievements through Steam...} And then early next year, possible Jan 17th is Diablo III if the leaked date is accurate, then on March 12th is Kingdoms of Amalur.

Anyway...

looks like someone already has an agenda for the whole year next year =p

Would be nice, having just a few games to look forward to and not worry about "looking for something to play!"

Oh yeah, and Mass Effect 3 is in March also, isn't it?
