Kingdoms of Amalur demo video

Well, its definitely looking better, and they appear to have solved the weight problems from their first video with weapons...they actually look real and your character shows exertion hefting and swinging them around. The combat looks like it could be great fun, I especially liked the Mage and the dual-flaming chakras.

However, one major flaw I've noticed immediately...watch the mini-map in each area shown in the video...the adventure appears as though its extremely linear, and narrowly pathed...damnit! Why oh why can't they ever get this right...give us open areas, towns fields, mountainous regions to explore. I like what he says how the massive Troll you encounter is not a scripted boss fight, but the entire adventure leading up to him is...rofl

Anyway...still looks fun, but I'm sure Risen II will be far better!
