Patch 1.18 ~ July 21st

And its 5 weeks later than they originally planned its release...sheesh! At this rate that end of summer massive overhaul, revealed last month will never happen...maybe more like mid to late fall if anything.

I've been reading the forums quit extensively the past 2 weeks and its quite bleak over there. Most of us are not expecting XIV to turn around anytime soon if ever, with a few optimists holding their ground like with every MMO that had a failed launch. I sure hope SW:TOR, GW2, TERA and ArcheAge deliver cause I'm getting tired of waiting on XIV to get better.

The reason I say this is because some of the designs being added to XIV are just ridiculous, for instance did anyone here read about the "Enmity" changes coming? There will be a new colored dot next the mobs names now on top of the one already there that displays their level/difficulty and if they're passive or not.

And it changes color based on how much enmity said mob has towards you. The worst part is when you have total enmity and it'll start blinking red. Nothing was said if this will be just in PTs or if in solo also, and if so...having an annoying blinking red dot always flashing while you're grinding mobs will be stupid. Even in a PT settings it'll be quite distracting, cause its not needed. Most of the forums are in an uproar over it, but we havn't heard anything back from SE yet, so it will prolly remain so...le sigh
