Alrighty! I logged about 16 hrs in XIV yesterday, getting ready for the patch, and Devros recruited 3-4 new members for us, all of whom have been greatly communicative so its been fun. Oh yeah, and Devros took me NM hunting for a few pieces of gear on my PGL, which I actually hit the fatigue on...doh.
So now I'm playing MRD for now...can't wait until that fatigue is gone next week!

I wouldn't say its alive or dead. Depends on the hours you play and where you go. Like I spent some 8 hrs in Thanalan with the same group of 4 ppl just doing Behest every 30min, and we'd pick up a few more on occasion.
Then I went to LL to do some leves on my MRD, and jumped on a few behest there, but I was alone for several hrs. Saw a few ppl doing leves or running by, but it seemed vacant.

depends on which server. kashuan is 1 out of 3 chocobos for pops. and i think its quite alive though not crowded... i assumed tho, the 3 of 3 pops would be more crowded, depends also on how you defined alive and crowded, really.

Considering there were mass complaints of queues and constantly being D/C on many of the other worlds with 3 Chocobos, I think Kashuan is good...

yeah so far so good for me, no d/c no login difficulties, tho the first time i logged in, i was spawned in market wards spellcraft section and it was deserted, lol. But, i get that coz its already clearly stated all retainers would reset.
