Growing the Sylvari

I'm sold on playing this race! As they said, very unique and different than anything prior, and I agree!

I tried very hard to get into Guild Wars, but it never did anything for me, so unless someone buys me Guild Wars 2 for a pressie, I'm not going to try it. I doubt I would feel any different about this one. I have no idea why.

I know how ya feel, as I too couldn't get into Guild Wars either. It was far too heavily PvP focused and everything outside the towns{or hubs} was all instanced. Thats no longer the case with GW2. There is a huge non-instanced world now, fully PvE with PvP instanced or always on if you play a full PvP server.

And a slew of other changes, far too many to list here, but you can find the info on their official site. One good thing about GW2 is there won't be a monthly fee, same as with GW, so I won't mind buying it as it'll be something to do on occasion if it turns out good, and on the side of another P2P MMO. Maybe even SW:TOR if we're still playing by then...
