So I looked around a bit last night for a gamepad once again. Been trying to decide on one for awhile, and while I really tried to consider one from Logitech, I couldn't commit to buying a blue gamepad, and unless you shell out $50-$60 for a wireless that ones only option. Plus everywhere I checked they wanted an additional $6-$9 shipping on top of the $12.99 pricetag, and I'm not gonna pay that with other options.
Anyway, I decided to check eBay and I found this gamepad from Frisby which appears to be a brick n' mortar store in Arizona with many of products of this brand. $10 + Free S/H is a much better deal to me plus it has auto ~ turbo and dual force feedback, which the $12.99 from Logitech didn't have, you'd of had to buy their $34.99 ver, plus it was still blue...doh
Then on top of all this most the reviews {2-4 stars} from various sites on all the cheaper Logitech gamepads wasn't so great, and didn't feel as they had enough weight to them or broke often and quickly. The few reviews I found for this Frisby gamepad were all 4-5 stars and said they had ample weight and feel to them. Guess we'll see once it gets here, but so far, a much better deal for this gamepad, and I really needed a new one for all the LEGO gaming I have to play through.
I tried using the gamepad I currently have and its clearly screwy, one of the buttons would keep going off at random times which just happened to be set to the attack button so it'd punch my LEGO partner, or an NPC in the cantina and start a massive fight, or just trying to run around would cause my char to stop and swing an attack at thin air...lol!
